Village Voices is a community choir open to all people who like to sing for fun. We get together to sing on Wednesday evenings at Margaret Harker Hall in Blofield.

The group is welcoming and sociable and attracts people who haven`t sung in a choir before as well as those who have some experience. There is no audition and songs are taught primarily by ear. Sometimes we learn songs by heart with no music (yes we can do it!) and sometimes music or words are given to support learning.

We sing a lovely mix of music: some traditional folk tunes, shanties, music from around the world, some pop, a sprinkle of show tunes and some brand new compositions.

We like to get out into the community and sing for charity fund raisers, village open gardens, care homes and occasional concerts.

To encourage you to come and give us a try we offer two free sessions. We sing from 7:30pm until 9:00pm. All are welcome. Please contact Suzanne before you come for the first time as sometimes we meet in Brundall instead. Standard subs are a bargain at £25 per quarter.

The choir is energetically led by Suzanne Williams. For more information contact Suzanne by email zanniewilliams@gmail.com
