Village Voices is a community choir open to all people who like to sing for fun. From September 2024 our practice venue is moving from Blofield to the St Laurence Centre in Brundall beside the church.

The group is welcoming and sociable and attracts people who haven`t sung in a choir before as well as those who have some experience. There is no audition and songs are taught primarily by ear. Sometimes we learn songs by heart with no music (yes we can do it!) and sometimes music or words are given to support learning.

We sing a lovely mix of music: some traditional folk tunes, shanties, music from around the world, some pop, a sprinkle of show tunes and some brand new compositions.

We like to get out into the community and sing for charity fund raisers, village open gardens, care homes and occasional concerts.

To encourage you to come and give us a try we are offering two free sessions in September on the 18th and the 25th at 7:15 for a 7:30pm start until 9:00pm. All are welcome. Standard subs are a bargain at £30 per quarter.

The choir is energetically led by Suzanne Williams. For more information contact Suzanne by email zanniewilliams@gmail.com
